Protea Day Spa Terms and Conditions

 

Booking Policy

  • Appointments can be booked on Whatsapp, by phone, email or in person.

  • We recommend booking in advance to ensure availability.

 

Cancellation Policy

  • A minimum of 24 hours' notice is required for cancellations or changes to appointments.

  • Failure to provide sufficient notice will result in a 50% charge of the total treatment cost.

  • No-shows will be charged the full treatment cost.

  • Late Arrivals

  • Please arrive 5-10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time to discuss treatment type, advise of any injuries or focus needed and to allow time to go to the bathroom.

  • Late arrivals may result in reduced treatment time or rescheduling.

 

Payment and Pricing

  • Payment is due at the time of treatment.

  • Prices are subject to change without notice.

  • We accept cash, credit cards, and gift vouchers.

 

Gift Vouchers

  • Gift vouchers are non-refundable and valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.

  • Gift vouchers cannot be redeemed for cash or used in conjunction with other promotions.

 

Liability and Indemnity

  • Protea Day Spa will not be liable for any damages or losses resulting from treatments or services provided.

  • Clients agree to indemnify Protea Day Spa against any claims, damages, or losses arising from their visit.

 

Health and Medical Conditions

  • Please inform us of any medical conditions, injuries, or allergies prior to treatment.

  • We reserve the right to refuse treatment if we deem it unsafe or unsuitable.

  • We may refuse the use of your own oils /creams especially if it is a prescription oil/cream, for the safety of the therapist.

 

Privacy Policy

  • We respect your privacy and confidentiality.

  • Client information will not be shared or disclosed without consent.

 

Feedback

  • We value your feedback and appreciate any comments or concerns.

  • Please address any complaints or issues to the Spa Manager, Amarah Moodley (management@proteadayspa.com).

 

Treatment Satisfaction

  • If you are not enjoying your treatment, please inform your therapist within 30 minutes of the start time.

  • If you choose to stop the treatment within 30 minutes, we will discuss alternative options or end the session at no charge.

  • If the full treatment time is completed, you will still be liable for the full payment, at managers discretion.

 

Right of Admission

  • The right of admission is reserved, and we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.

  • Clients are required to respect the staff member assisting them. Any form of harassment or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.

  • Please note that we do not offer any adult treatments. If you request such a treatment, you will be asked to leave and will be liable for the full treatment cost.

 

Personal Belongings

  • Clients are responsible for their personal belongings, including clothing, jewelry, and valuables.

  • We will not be held liable for any items left behind or lost during your visit.

  • Communication

  • Please note that our staff members are foreign, and there may be a language barrier.

  • If you experience any communication issues during your treatment, please ask your therapist to call the receptionist or manager for assistance.

 

Trading Hours

  • Treatment Hours:

    • Monday to Thursday: 10am to 8pm (last appointment at approximately 7pm)

    • Friday to Sunday: 9am to 9pm (last appointment at approximately 7pm)

  • Reception Admin Hours:

    • Monday to Thursday: 10am to 6pm

    • Friday to Sunday: 9am to 5pm

  • Please note that evening appointments are necessary as we may close earlier depending on appointments made in advance.

By booking an appointment at Protea Day Spa, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
